Description:

 

 

In this course, I will first discuss basic construction and properties of toric varieties including line bundles, topology, singularities, moment maps, intersection theory and so on. Then I will move on to the homogeneous coordinates and GIT quotients. In the end, I will use these tools to study the secondary fan and the wall-crossing phenomenon in toric geometry.

Some basic knowledge of algebraic geometry
