Description:
 
In this course, some basics of wavelet will be introduced, include continuous wavelet transform, discrete wavelet transform, frames, time-frequency analysis, Multi-resolution Analysis, orthonormal wavelet bases etc. Some applications in data analysis and scientific computing will also be discussed. The course is good for senior undergraduate student and graduate students.
