Description:

 

The lecture will be essentially based on intersection curves where we prove in details Bezout's Theorem, then move on surfaces and on higher dimensional varieties (algebraic cycles) where we deal with Chow's ring. If the time permits it, we shall finish with the notion of motives, in particular, motives of curves.
