Description:

This course is for junior or senior math major undergraduate and graduate students interested in analysis and geometry. We assume that the students had taken one semester PDE course and one semester Riemannian Geometry or differential geometry course. We will give a concise introduction to harmonic functions from geometric analysis view point and discuss some important results about minimal surfaces.
