Program
An Introduction to Several Complex Variables
Student No.:50
Time:Tue/Thu 13:00-14:50, 07-16~08-08
Instructor:Erlend Fornaess Wold  [University of Oslo]
Place:Conference Room 4, Floor 2, Jin Chun Yuan West Building
Starting Date:2013-7-16
Ending Date:2013-8-8

The place of lecture from July 29 to August 2th will be changed to room A304 of Math department.

Description:

We will start by considering basic properties of holomorphic functions in several complex variables (Power series, Cauchy’s Integral formula, Cauchy Estimates etc.), and then holomorphic maps and zero sets of holomorphic functions in several variables. We then study extension phenomena and characterizations of pseudoconvex domains. We will use the first to chapters of M. Range: Holomorphic Functions and Integral Representations in Several Complex Variables.

Prerequisite:

Introductory course in one complex variables.
