Description:
We will start from Hilbert’s theorem about hyperbolic space embedding, Nirenberg’s solution to Weyl’s problem, and push further to Nash’ embedding theorem. Efimov’s generalization of Hilbert’s theorem, Gromov’s h-principle will presented if time permits.


Prerequisite:
One semester Riemannian geometry and one semester PDE.
