This talk is to introduce the null controllability from measurable sets for several kinds of controlled parabolic PDEs. As an application, we will study the bang-bang property of time (or norm) optimal control problems. In the content, we first review our already established works on this subject for the parabolic equations with real-analytic coefficients; and then announce certain new results in this direction but for the general parabolic equations with Lipschitz leading coefficients, by using a profound result in a very recent work by Logunov-Malinnikova.
