Abstract:
Computational conformal geometry is an emerging interdisciplinary field, which combines modern geometry with computer science, and applies in engineering and medicine fields. This course will cover the fundamental concepts, theorems in algebraic topology, complex analysis, differential geometry, Riemann surface, harmonic maps, Ricci flow and so on, and generalize them to discrete settings, eventually convert them into practical algorithms. The applications in computer graphics, computer vision, networking, geometric modeling and medical imaging will be briefly introduced as well.

Linear algebra, multi-variate calculus
