The AwardsThe awards are given according by degree levels. (1) PhD Thesis Awards: one gold award (RMB 54,000), two silver awards (RMB 18,000 each); (2) Master Thesis Awards: one gold award (RMB 18,000), one silver award (RMB 6,000); (3) Bachelor Thesis Awards: one gold award (RMB 6,000), two silver awards (RMB 2,000 each). The thesis adviser/supervisor of the winner will be awarded one-fourth of the corresponding cash prize. Besides the gold and silver medals, there are also honorable mentioned prizes (RMB500 each). The New World Mathematics Awards Ceremony 2010 will take place at Beijing Hotel in the evening of December 17, 2010. |
